Othernet is an interactive group of people who have a common interest in the success of our network. Othernet.org was founded in the Spring of 1997, to provide IRC users with a good place to meet, exchange ideas, and generally have fun.

Othernet exists for the sole purpose of providing a family environment where users of all ages can meet to chat in a safe, reliable, and secure place.

Any hosts that have more than four (4) concurrent users connecting at the same time, must join #help or #southpole, or notify an IRCop before the sixth (6) user or client connects. If they fail to do so, their hosts domain will be automatically glined/blocked by Operator Services.
